Kelly Services is seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Technician in Beaumont, TX to support testing and quality activities in a chemical manufacturing setting. You will perform testing of incoming materials, in-process samples, final products, and other materials, following established procedures and generating accurate data.

The role emphasizes data accuracy, laboratory safety, and collaborative problem-solving, with potential for overtime and rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field required.
• Minimum of 2 years laboratory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic laboratory techniques and test instruments.
• Strong attention to detail and data documentation.
• Ability to follow written procedures and methods.
• Strong mathematical and organizational skills.
• Willingness to work rotating 8-hour schedule and overtime.
• On-site work and safety compliance.

Responsabilités

• Perform basic laboratory tests and accurately record observations and results.
• Test incoming, in-process, final product, raw material, and other samples.
• Follow established laboratory procedures, analytical methods, and company policies.
• Calculate, collect, prepare, and evaluate technical data.
• Maintain and organize technical data using established formulas and procedures.
• Complete documentation and record-keeping per company and regulatory requirements.
• Review data and make minor corrections or adjustments as needed.
• Support laboratory operations by stocking supplies and equipment.
• Set up and dismantle laboratory apparatus and equipment as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of equipment.
• Identify opportunities to improve laboratory processes.
• Communicate technical information with colleagues and contacts within the work area.
• Troubleshoot routine technical issues using established procedures.
