LINK Staffing is seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector for a fast-paced manufacturing operation in the Houston area. You will inspect and test manufactured and incoming parts to ensure they meet quality standards, and you will document results and communicate issues to production teams.

The ideal candidate has 3–4 years of QC/inspection experience, comfort with precision measuring tools, and strong attention to detail.

Quality Control Inspector – ManufacturingPay: $17.00–$20.00/hr DOE Schedule: 12-Hour Shifts Day Shift: 5:00 AM–5:00 PMNight Shift: 5:00 PM–5:00 AMWe are seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector to join a fast-paced manufacturing operation. This position is responsible for inspecting and testing manufactured, assembled, and incoming parts to ensure they meet required specifications and quality standards. Candidates must have at least 3–4 years of Quality Control/Inspection experience in a manufacturing environment and be comfortable using precision measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections of manufactured and assembled parts.
• Inspect incoming components and materials received from outside vendors.
• Identify defects, dimensional discrepancies, and deviations from specifications.
• Use precision measuring instruments, gauges, and hand tools to verify product quality.
• Perform and verify first article inspections.
• Read and interpret specifications, work instructions, and production documentation.
• Verify required documentation and product identification throughout the production process.
• Accurately document inspection results and communicate quality concerns.
• Work closely with production personnel to address quality issues and maintain manufacturing standards.
• Support continuous improvement, waste reduction, and cycle-time improvement efforts.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Perform additional quality-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 3–4 years of Quality Control Inspector experience in a manufacturing environment required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Hands-on experience using precision measuring instruments and gauges.
• Experience performing receiving, in-process, and final inspections.
• Experience with first article inspection preferred.
• Ability to read and understand manufacturing specifications and inspection documentation.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or deviations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods during a 12-hour shift.
• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
• Ability to push and pull heavy objects using appropriate equipment.
• Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses and steel-toe footwear.
