Job summary

Total Reliance Contracting Co in Dalton, GA is seeking an experienced QC Chemist specializing in Latex Additives and Surfactants to ensure chemical consistency, safety, and performance of raw materials, in-process blends, and finished products. The role emphasizes accurate testing, documentation, and collaboration with production teams.

Responsibilities include conducting titrations, moisture analysis, viscosity measurements, and reporting results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, required.
• One year or more of related experience, required.
• Experience with SAP preferred.
• Able to stand and work at a lab bench for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical tests including acid-base titrations, moisture determinations, color comparison, pH, density and viscosity.
• Conduct specialized chemical and physical tests and report results.
• Communicate test results to production staff and document findings.
• Develop and implement QC checks and improve testing methods.
• Prepare technical reports documenting methods and results.
• Maintain a clean, organized QC lab and ensure PPE safety rules are followed.
