Job summary

Total Reliance Contracting Co. is hiring a Quality Control Lab Technician for our polyurethane QC lab. You will perform chemical and instrumental tests on materials, raw blends, and finished foams to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.

The role involves logging results electronically, communicating with production staff, and maintaining lab equipment and CoAs daily. On-site position with standard daytime hours, with occasional overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Associates Degree in a related field preferred.
• Experience with SAP preferred.
• Strong knowledge of chemical testing and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical tests on formulas, raw materials, and finished batches to ensure safety and performance standards.
• Conduct instrumental testing (FTIR, XRF, GC, HPLC, GPC) as needed.
• Log samples electronically and report test results to production staff.
• Read temperature charts, organize lab areas, and prepare CoAs daily.
• Maintain PPE and follow safety protocols in on-site lab operations.
