Job summary

Aurolife is seeking a Chemist B to ensure products and materials meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. You will conduct laboratory tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods using various analytical techniques while maintaining SOPs and GMP compliance.

The role requires strong attention to detail, technical expertise in analytical testing, and the ability to work in regulated environments within a pharmaceutical setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years experience in pharmaceuticals; 2–4 years in analytical testing.
• Experience in generic pharmaceutical industries preferred.
• Knowledge of Good Documentation practices.
• Knowledge of USP/ICH/FDA regulations.
• Ability to learn quickly and make decisions.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical, chemical and instrumental tests on raw materials, in-process and finished products using wet chemicals and instrumental techniques per USP/compendial standards.
• Plan inventory of test reagents and solutions and maintain supplies.
• Execute testing to meet established timelines; handle complex tests with supervision.
• Record data and results as per documentation procedures; ensure accurate results.
• Prepare or review Test Procedures, SOPs and Protocols.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments under supervision.
• Troubleshoot investigations as directed by supervisor.
• Comply with safety, housekeeping and regulatory requirements (cGMP, cGLP).
• Review analytical documents as required.
