Job summary

DuBois Chemicals, Inc. is seeking a QA/Technical Support specialist at our Sharonville, OH facility. The role reports to the QA Manager and focuses on chemistry technical support, adherence to quality specifications, and regulatory compliance.

You will provide daily production support, testing, disposition of materials, and collaborate with QA, Plant Management, and EHS to ensure product quality and safety. Strong problem-solving and communication across levels are essential.

Qualifications

• One to three years of wet chemistry testing experience.
• Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Data Analysis.
• Strong problem-solving abilities; effective communication across levels.
• Ability to lead QA matters in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily production support including testing, adjusting and disposition of raw materials, products and packaging.
• Collaborate with QA, Plant Management, Production Teams and EHS to ensure product quality and safety.
• Provide technical support on waste minimization and environmental compliance; handle timely disposition of returns and discrepant material.
• Use SPC methods for data collection, root cause analysis, and effectiveness of corrective/preventive actions.
• Perform any other duties as delegated by the QA Manager.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Reporting to the QA Manager, the position is responsible for providing technical support regarding the chemistry of products, adherence to quality specifications and compliance to safety, regulatory and environmental rules and regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Employs safe work habits and complies with all applicable safety requirements.
• Provide daily production support including testing, adjusting and disposition of raw materials, products and packaging.
• Works closely with Quality Assurance, Plant Management, Production Teams and EHS to ensure overall quality and safety of products produced and distributed from the Sharonville Plant.
• Provide technical support with regards to waste minimization, environmental compliance, and timely disposition of returns, discrepant product and materials.
• Utilize SPC methods in data collection, root cause analysis, corrective/preventive action effectiveness and cost saving/avoidance analysis.
• Any other responsibilities delegated by the Quality Assurance Manager.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• One to three years of wet chemistry testing experience.
• Statistical Process Control, Data Analysis, PC skills.
• Must have strong problem-solving abilities specifically in technical matters.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel at multiple locations.
• Must have the ability to take a leadership role in all Quality Assurance matters.
• Must be able to excel in a team environment.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related science.
