Job summary

Twist Bioscience in Wilsonville, OR is seeking a QC Associate I to perform routine QC testing and product release under supervision, operating analytical instruments, following validated methods, and supporting investigations in compliance with ISO 13485:2016.

This on-site role runs Monday–Friday, 8:00–5:30 PT, and requires a BS in a related field, 0–2 years in industry or academic labs, and familiarity with QC principles.

Qualifications

• BS is required in biochemistry, chemistry, or molecular biology.
• 0-2 years in QC/Operations; internship or academic lab acceptable.
• Familiar with molecular biology techniques (PCR, sequencing).
• Basic lab data systems knowledge (LIMS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support review and release of basic products against QC metrics.
• Perform routine QC release testing and data review.
• Conduct raw material incoming inspections.
• Execute analytical testing (NanoDrop, Qubit, TapeStation, qPCR).
• Maintain QC records and instrument logs.
• Assist investigations of OOS/OOT results.
• Compile routine QC reports and metrics.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in QC.
