Job summary

Twist Bioscience Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Associate to join the Wilsonville, OR site. You will produce DNA and plasmid products, operate high-throughput automated lab systems, and follow SOPs in a controlled environment.

You will work with oxidation of procedures, documentation, and lean manufacturing concepts to keep the production schedule on track in a fast-paced lab setting.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors degree in Biology, chemistry or related field desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture high quality custom products in a fast-paced MFG lab according to SOPs.
• Operate equipment and liquid handling robots (Hamilton Stars, etc.).
• Apply molecular biology techniques (PCR, DNA quantitation, purification, cloning).
• Maintain thorough, accurate documentation of work.
• Update and write work instructions and documentation.
• Work independently and safely with chemicals and hazardous materials.
