Job summary

B. Braun Medical, Inc. in Irvine, CA, is seeking a QC Microbiology Associate to perform routine microbiological testing and support environmental monitoring under cGMP.

You will document results, maintain equipment, and assist with investigations while collaborating with Quality, Manufacturing and Technical Services teams. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, with an Associate degree preferred, and 0–2 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; an Associate degree in Microbiology or related field is preferred.
• Experience in microbiology, pharmaceutical or regulated lab environments is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to cGMP and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine microbiological testing on finished products, utilities, and samples.
• Accurately document results and maintain data integrity under cGMP.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, reagents, and materials to ensure continuous testing.
• Assist with equipment qualification, calibration, and preventive maintenance.
• Review results for specifications compliance and escalate when needed.
• Support investigations of OOS/OOT events and deviations.
• Contribute to SOP updates and continuous improvement in the lab.
