Job summary

Eurofins US Network is seeking a QC Analytical Chemist Group Leader in Albany, NY to lead GMP testing of in-process samples, raw materials, intermediates, APIs and stability materials. You will guide investigations of OOS/OOt results and lead a team of 3-5 chemists while ensuring high quality and timely results.

The role requires a BS/ MS in chemistry or life sciences with GMP/GLP experience, leadership capability, and US work authorization. Expect a rotating schedule and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Life Sciences, or related field with 3+ years GMP/GLP testing experience; OR MS with 1+ years GMP/GLP testing experience
• At least a year of industry experience with LC, Conductivity, and Titration
• Experience with two or more techniques/instruments listed (NMR, GC, ICP-OES, IR, RI, UV-Vis, TGA)
• Knowledge of GMP, ICH, and 21 CFR guidelines
• Prior leadership/mentoring experience in a team setting
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Lead and support GMP testing of in-process materials, APIs, and stability samples
• Oversee investigations for OOS, OOT, and invalid results
• Participate in method transfer, qualification, and verification studies
• Mentor a 3-5 member team and coordinate client and internal communications
• Ensure adherence to quality and efficiency standards in lab operations
• Balance technical work with leadership tasks and administrative duties
• Manage reference standards and impurity/residual solvent testing
