Job summary

Eurofins Professional Scientific Services is hiring a QC Analytical Chemist to support GMP testing of in-process, raw materials, intermediates, APIs, and stability samples in Albany, NY.

The role requires a BS in Chemistry (or related) with 3+ years GMP/GLP testing or an MS with 1+ years, and hands-on LC, Conductivity, and Titration experience, plus familiarity with NMR, GC, ICP-OES, IR, RI, UV-Vis, and TGA.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Life Sciences, or related degree with 3+ years of GMP/GLP testing experience; OR MS with 1+ years of GMP/GLP testing experience
• At least 1 year of industry experience with LC, Conductivity, and Titration
• Experience utilizing at least two of the following techniques/instruments: NMR, GC, ICP-OES, IR, RI, UV-Vis, or TGA

Responsibilities

• Conduct testing and review in accordance with approved methods, specifications, and compendial requirements
• Follow GMP regulations including 21 CFR Parts 210 and 211 and applicable ICH guidelines
• Test pharmaceutical samples (in-process, raw materials, intermediates, API, stability)
• Participate in method transfer, qualification, and verification studies
• Support investigations for OOS, OOT, and invalid results
• Reference standard qualification and management
