Job summary

Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions in Albany, NY is hiring a QC Analytical Chemist for GMP testing of pharmaceutical materials. The role requires attention to detail, meticulous sample testing (in-process, raw materials, intermediates, APIs, stability), and participation in method transfers.

Qualified candidates have a BS/MS with GMP/GLP experience and proficiency in LC, conductivity, titration, and at least two of NMR, GC, ICP-OES, IR, RI, UV-Vis, or TGA.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Life Sciences, or related degree with 3+ years of GMP/GLP testing experience; OR MS in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Life Sciences, or related degree with 1+ years of industry GMP/GLP testing experience
• At least a year of industry experience with Liquid Chromatography (LC), Conductivity, and Titration
• Proven experience utilizing at least two of the following techniques and/or instruments: NMR, GC, ICP-OES, IR, RI, UV-Vis, TGA
• Knowledge and in-depth understanding of GMPs, ICH, and 21 CRF guidelines

Responsibilities

• Test in-process, raw materials, intermediates, APIs, and stability samples following approved methods and specifications
• Adhere to GMP regulations including 21 CFR Parts 210 and 211 and ICH guidelines
• Perform testing across listed instruments and techniques and review results
• Participate in method transfer, qualification, and verification studies
• Support investigations for OOS, OOT, and invalid results
• Reference standard qualification and management; maintain data integrity and traceability
• Manage elemental impurities and residual solvent testing and review
