Job summary

Eurofins PSS Insourcing Solutions is hiring a QC Analytical Chemist Group Leader to support GMP testing of in-process, raw materials, intermediates, APIs, and stability samples. You will lead a 3-5 person team and drive investigations, method transfer, and verification activities.

You will ensure compliance with 21 CFR Parts 210/211 and ICH guidelines, manage reference standards, and apply techniques such as NMR, GC, LC, ICP-OES, IR, UV-Vis, and TGA. Albany, NY area, rotating shift schedule.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Life Sciences, or related degree with 3+ years GMP/GLP testing experience; OR MS with 1+ years GMP/GLP testing experience
• At least 1 year of industry experience with LC, Conductivity, and Titration
• Experience with at least two listed techniques/instruments (NMR, GC, ICP-OES, IR, RI, UV-Vis, TGA)

Responsibilities

• Conduct testing and review per approved methods and GMP/ICH guidelines
• Lead method transfer, qualification and verification studies
• Support investigations for OOS, OOT, and invalid results
• Oversee a team of chemists and coordinate client/internal communications
• Balance technical work with leadership responsibilities
