Job summary

Eurofins PSS is hiring a QC Analytical Chemist to support GMP testing of in-process materials, raw materials, intermediates, APIs, and stability samples. The role also involves investigations of invalid results and method transfer activities.

The position is full-time, with a 6pm–6am rotating schedule and commutable distance to Albany, NY. Competitive benefits and a potential yearly bonus are included.

Qualifications

• BS or MS with GMP/GLP testing experience as specified in the job summary.
• Minimum 1 year of industry GMP/GLP testing experience for MS or 3+ years for BS.
• Experience with LC, Conductivity, and Titration in a regulated setting.
• Hands-on use of two or more listed analytical techniques (NMR/GC/ICP-OES/IR/RI/UV-Vis/TGA).
• GMPs, ICH, and 21 CFR guidelines knowledge; US work authorization required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct testing and review in accordance with approved methods, specifications, and protocols.
• Follow GMP regulations and applicable ICH guidelines for testing activities.
• Test samples including in-process materials, raw materials, intermediates, APIs, and stability samples.
• Participate in method transfer, qualification, and verification studies.
• Support investigations for OOS, OOT, and invalid results.
• Utilize analytical techniques such as NMR, GC, LC, ICP-OES, IR, RI, UV-Vis, and TGA.
• Reference standard qualification and management; manage impurities and residual solvents.
