Job summary

Eurofins Professional Scientific Services is hiring a QC Analytical Chemist to support GMP testing of pharmaceutical in-process, raw materials, intermediates, APIs, and stability samples. The role also includes investigations of invalid results and method transfer activities.

The position is a permanent, full-time role with a rotating 6pm-6am shift, commutable proximity to Albany, NY, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Life Sciences, or related degree with GMP/GLP testing experience; OR MS with GMP/GLP testing experience
• At least a year of industry experience with LC, Conductivity, and Titration
• Experience using two or more of NMR, GC, ICP-OES, IR, RI, UV-Vis, TGA

Responsibilities

• Conduct testing and review in accordance with approved methods and specs
• Follow GMP regulations and ICH guidelines
• Test samples including in-process, raw materials, intermediates, API, stability
• Participate in method transfer, qualification, and verification studies
• Support investigations for OOS, OOT, and invalid results
• Utilize analytical techniques listed in qualifications
