Job summary

ASTRA ABA in North Carolina is seeking Qualified Behavior Analysts (QBAs) to manage caseloads for in-home, in-school, and remote services across NC. You will oversee assessments, develop individualized ABA plans, and provide supervision to technicians while collaborating with families and schools.

The role emphasizes mentorship, professional development, and a healthy work-life balance with opportunities to grow clinically in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, Child Development, or a related field.
  • Active QBA certification in good standing.
  • Meets supervision/credentialing requirements for QBA.
  • Active North Carolina licensure/certification as required.
  • Minimum of two years of experience with children with autism.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Reliable transportation for local travel.
  • Strong knowledge of ABA principles and interventions.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to supervise Behavior Technicians and clinical staff.
  • Passion for making a positive impact on children and families.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee comprehensive assessments to identify strengths and needs for individuals with autism.
  • Develop and implement individualized ABA treatment plans and interventions.
  • Provide supervision, mentorship, and training to Behavior Technicians and clinical staff.
  • Support families through collaboration, education, and consistent communication.
  • Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and guide decisions.
  • Collaborate with parents, schools, and providers to ensure continuity of care.
  • Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development.
  • Stay current with ABA research and best practices.
  • Ensure services comply with insurance requirements and ethical standards.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and billing submissions.
  • Occasional local travel may be required to support clients.
