Affidea BV is seeking a QA and UAT Tester to ensure releases meet functional, quality, and business requirements through rigorous manual and UAT testing. This growth role includes training and mentorship to build automation skills and a clear path toward a Test Automation Engineer profile.

Responsibilities include designing test cases from requirements, executing test cycles, managing defects, and ensuring release readiness with cross-functional collaboration and continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 1–3 years' experience in manual and/or UAT testing in software.
• Experience writing traceable test cases from requirements and criteria.
• Experience executing functional, regression, and UAT cycles and documenting results.
• Experience logging defects using Jira/Azure DevOps/Zephyr/Xray.

Responsabilités

• Writes clear, traceable test cases from requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Executes functional, regression, and end-to-end test cycles per plan.
• Plans and coordinates UAT cycles with business stakeholders.
• Logs defects with steps, evidence, severity and priority.
• Maintains release readiness documentation and quality gates.
• Develops automation skills and contributes to automated tests over time.
• Collaborates with Developers, BA, and Product Owner to clarify criteria.
• Participates in retrospectives and improves testing processes.
