Job summary

Continental is seeking a QA Tire Tester to schedule, monitor, and ship tire tests, and to generate reports for QA surveillance. You will analyze tire sections, maintain calibration of equipment, and interface with Tire Technology and Engineering on test-related issues. The role may require evenings and weekend shifts in a non-climate controlled environment.

Starting salary is $64,613 per year with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities within a global leader in tire manufacturing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor visas for this job posting.
• No relocation assistance is offered for this position.

Responsibilities

• Insure tire testing is scheduled, monitored, shipped, and reports are issued.
• Analyze Truck Tire sections as required for QA Surveillance Testing.
• Interface with Corporate Tire Technology, and Engineering on test related issues.
• Maintain calibration and working condition of equipment.
• Lead customer satisfaction initiatives (tire sort) in local and external warehouse or customer location.
• Perform the duties of QA Tire Cutter, QA Grader as a backup to these positions as requested.
