Job summary

JPW Industries' La Vergne lab is expanding its test capability for new products and production samples, including an acoustic containment room. As a QA Testing Engineer you will own the development and technical execution of product testing, turning requirements and standards into rigorous tests and providing direction to the Lab Test Technician.

You will partner with Design Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality to ensure tests are repeatable, documented, and traceable, with actionable

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline required (Bachelor’s preferred).
• ASQ CQE or CQT, or equivalent, preferred.
• 5+ years of hands-on product testing, test engineering, or product validation in machinery or industrial equipment.
• Build test plans and methods from specifications and published standards, not solely executing existing procedures.
• CAD proficiency to model and detail fixtures (SolidWorks preferred).

Responsibilities

• Test plans, methods, and acceptance criteria built from product requirements and applicable safety and performance standards.
• Fixture design for load bearing, safety critical, and instrumented tests, with drawings for fabrication.
• Complex, instrumented, and first-of-kind testing, plus root cause investigation through to verified corrective action.
• Lab capability and integrity: calibration program, safe setups, and new assets like acoustic containment room.
