Job summary

JPW Industries is seeking a QA Test Technician in La Vergne, TN. You will conduct hands-on testing of prototypes and benchmarks, generate credible data, and provide engineers with the insights needed to improve designs before production.

You will inspect components, write clear test reports, and help develop repeatable testing protocols. This on-site role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and working in a lab/manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on product testing, QA, or manufacturing support.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical/associate's degree preferred.
• ASQ Certified Quality Technician (CQT) or similar certification preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and use test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes).
• Experience with Root Cause Analysis, FMEA, and Six Sigma principles.

Responsibilities

• Own test results from setup to reporting with clear data for engineers.
• Inspect components and assemblies against quality standards.
• Develop repeatable testing and inspection protocols.
• Analyze results and provide detailed feedback to design teams.
• Support handoff of new products from design to manufacturing.
