Job summary

Island is seeking a Test Development Engineer to design and execute manual and automated tests for our enterprise workspace products. You will work closely with R&D teams to ensure high-quality feature releases and lead test innovations to reduce testing time, while adapting plans to real-world customer environments.

Qualified candidates have 4+ years in manual test design, hands-on experience with AI tooling (Claude Code, Cursor), and a CS-related degree.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in manual test design.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding tools and agents to write, debug and maintain test code.
• Experience in automation test development for enterprise products is a plus.
• Creativity to find solutions for challenging requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and run manual and automated test scenarios.
• Work with R&D teams to ensure high-quality features and releases.
• Lead test solution innovations to reduce test time and improve quality.
• Adapt testing plans to real-world customer environments.
• Fix bugs in test suites and in product areas.
