Job summary

Virtusa is seeking an AI Automation Quality Engineer to design and implement intelligent test automation solutions using GenAI and modern frameworks. This hands-on role focuses on scalable automation across UI, API, and integration testing with a strong bias toward AI-assisted development and release readiness.

The ideal candidate has hands-on automation experience in large-scale enterprise environments, with familiarity in Pega testing and CI/CD integration to accelerate software delivery.

Qualifications

• This role requires hands-on automation development experience with AI-assisted test generation and maintenance.
• Strong experience in building scalable test automation for UI, API, and integration testing.
• Proficiency with GenAI-enabled tooling and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks for UI, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Build AI-assisted test automation to generate test cases, data, scripts, and validation scenarios.
• Use AI to identify coverage gaps, regression risks, and defects.
• Automate API testing for REST/SOAP and validate cross-enterprise integrations.
• Develop automated regression suites and integrate into CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide automated quality metrics and test results for release readiness.
• Pega testing experience including Pega case-management and Constellation UI.
