Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to assist the QA Manager in implementing the quality system at the AFNA site in Shelbyville, KY. You will help verify tests, record results, quarantine non-conforming material, and support MRB activities to ensure product quality.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years of packaging industry experience; familiarity with drawings, measurement devices, and basic SPC concepts is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• 1–2 years experience in the packaging industry is a plus.
• Minimum 1–2 years experience as a quality technician required.
• Ability to read drawings and interpret quality data.

Responsibilities

• Perform verification testing as specified.
• Record test results and file QC records; quarantine non-conforming material.
• Audit data and release products from quality inspection.
• Maintain calibration records and assist in SPC studies.
• Train personnel in inspection methods and quality requirements.
