Job summary

Amcor LLC is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to assist the QA Manager in implementing the overall Quality System at the AFNA site in Indiana. You will perform verification testing, document results, and quarantine non-conforming materials to protect product quality.

You will also organize daily MRB meetings, maintain calibration and quality records, and assist in training personnel in inspection methods and quality requirements.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalency is required.
• 1-2 years of experience in the packaging industry is a plus.
• Minimum of 1-2 years experience as a quality technician is required.
• Regularly stand, sit and walk; manual dexterity with testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist QA Manager in implementing the quality system.
• Perform verification testing as specified.
• Record test results and file QC records.
• Quarantine non-conforming material and notify supervision.
• Organize for daily MRB meetings.
• Document and control sample retain storage.
• Audit job data and release product from quality inspection.
• Assist in maintaining quality records and training personnel.
