Job summary

Amcor is seeking an Apprentice Quality Technician to support production with routine quality testing and audits. You will learn standard procedures, document results, and communicate findings to the Quality Technician or Supervisor while promoting Amcor’s safety culture on the plant floor in Lewisburg, TN.

The role emphasizes learning, accuracy in testing, data entry, and teamwork to help maintain product quality and prepare for increased responsibilities within the quality function.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English effectively.
• Basic computer skills including Excel and Word.
• Ability to follow standardized procedures and instructions.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• 0–1 year of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine quality testing including break/hole testing using Cognex camera systems under guidance.
• Conduct cling testing with proper sample preparation following standard procedures.
• Assist in running ultimate stretch testing and recording key performance data.
• Enter test data into computer databases accurately.
• Communicate test results and report non-conformities to the Quality Technician or Supervisor.
• Support production teams by providing timely and accurate test results.
• Maintain a clean and organized lab environment.
