Printpack Inc. seeks a QA Technician I to ensure products meet specifications and customer requirements. You will perform tests on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished goods, and document results in ERP systems.

This entry-level role includes training and supervision, with emphasis on accurate data entry, adherence to 5S, and cross‑department communication. Based in Grand Prairie, TX, you will work a Sun-Thu night shift from 11pm to 7am and contribute to Food Safety, CI, EHS, and

Qualifications

• 0–5 years of QA Technician or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience in industrial manufacturing; lab experience preferred
• Proficiency in computer skills, time management, and data interpretation preferred
• Skilled in using measurement tools in both US and Metric systems required
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and work instructions required
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail required
• Must be 18 years or older

Responsibilities

• Execute quality assurance sampling and testing in accordance with internal standards and customer specifications.
• Use a variety of lab and testing equipment, including: Spectrophotometers for color analysis; GC/MS for chemical analysis; Tensile testers; FT-IR for material identification; MVTR/OTR instruments; Optical microscopes.
• Conduct visual inspections on all representative samples from materials produced across multiple production lines/processes.
• Articulate and disseminate results effectively to various levels of personnel and management.
• Navigate ERP interfaces to extract job and production information and ensure accurate data entry.
• Create hold tags for defective material and ensure proper identification of tagged rolls.
• Uphold 5S standards and efficient inventory management of supplies.
• Archive job jackets, laboratory data sheets, and retain samples daily.
• Engage in Food Safety, CI, EHS, and BBSO initiatives.
