Job summary

Printpack Jackson seeks a Quality Technician to ensure compliant, high-quality products across blown-film and converting operations. This 12-hour night shift runs 7pm–7am on a 2/2/3 schedule, with starting pay $20.66/hr plus a $2.50/hr night differential.

You will perform QA sampling and testing, operate lab instruments, document results in ERP, and support safety and CI programs. 0–5 years in QA or similar is preferred; must work with US customary and metric measurements and be a team player.

Qualifications

• 0–5 years QA Technician or equivalent industrial experience.
• Industrial manufacturing experience; lab experience preferred.
• Proficient with computers, time management and data interpretation.
• Able to use measurement tools in US and metric units.
• Follow SOPs and work instructions; strong attention to detail.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Perform QA sampling and testing per standards and customer specs.
• Operate lab equipment: spectrophotometers, GC/MS, tensile testers, FT-IR, MVTR/OTR, microscopes.
• Inspect materials from multiple lines; ensure data entry in ERP.
• Create hold tags for defective material; manage tagged rolls.
• Maintain 5S, inventory, and archive lab data daily.
• Support Food Safety, CI, EHS, and BBSO initiatives.
