Winona Foods in Green Bay, WI is seeking a QA Technician I for the 2nd shift (2:00pm - 10:00pm), Monday through Friday. The role focuses on day-to-day testing, analysis, inspections, and reporting to support safe, quality food production.

The position offers incentives that bring the hourly wage to $24.50 and growth opportunities to Level II. The QA Technician I will follow food safety policies, perform calibrations, conduct allergen and finished product testing, maintain meticulous records, and

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent; cheese processing or food manufacturing experience preferred.
• Solid knowledge of quality control principles, practices, and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with different departments.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, Hygiene and HACCP.
• Technical competence in using various testing equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Follow Winona Food Safety policies and procedures.
• Follow and enforce GMPs and Personal Hygiene policies.
• Perform Test & Measuring Equipment calibrations and verifications.
• Conduct finished product testing per established procedures.
• Conduct label verification of finished product.
• Inbound inspections – inspect, sample, and record and ensure COA is present or product on hold.
• Conduct allergen testing and verification activities.
• Maintain accurate logs, data entry, and filing records for holds and lab results.
• Conduct post-cleaning and pre-operational sanitation inspections and document results.
