Job summary

TH Foods, Inc. is seeking aFSQA Technician Level 1 for 2nd shift in Caledonia, IL. This entry-level role supports food safety and QA through testing, monitoring, and documentation to ensure compliance with standards.

The position offers starting pay of $23.00–$26.00 per hour with a $2 shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts. High School diploma required; English proficiency and basic QA training preferred; growth into higher tiers is possible based on performance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English is required.
• Vocation training in Quality Systems is preferred; experience in food manufacturing/QA is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to personnel safety policies and promote safety to peers.
• Champion Food Safety and Quality Standards.
• Document food safety/quality issues and communicate to FSQA leadership.
• Conduct inspections during production and post sanitation to ensure standards, including Identity Preserved products.
• Audit production and packaging lines and document information for compliance.
• Collect and analyze ingredient and product samples for specs (analytical, physical, chemical, organoleptic).
• Audit metal detection and weight control equipment.
• Record finished goods and WIP data.
• Recognize out-of-spec results and communicate promptly.
• Place non-conforming product on Hold and complete required documentation.
• Complete all duties as assigned; pursue Food Safety Professional Certification Track 1 within six months if hired at Level I.
