Job summary

Winona Foods is seeking a QA Technician I to perform day-to-day testing, analysis, inspections, and reporting to support safe, quality food production at our Green Bay facility.

The role focuses on calibrating testing equipment, conducting finished product and allergen testing, and documenting results while following GMP and HACCP standards. The position offers full benefits and growth opportunities within a family-owned company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in cheese processing or food manufacturing preferred.
• Solid knowledge of quality control principles, practices, and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of GMP, Hygiene and HACCP.
• Technical competence with various testing equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Follow Winona Foods policies and procedures for food safety and quality.
• Perform calibration and verification of test and measuring equipment.
• Conduct finished product testing per established procedures and verify labels.
• Inspect inbound materials and ensure COA availability or hold if missing.
• Conduct allergen testing and verification activities.
• Maintain logs and records for holds, non-conforming materials, lab results and inspections.
• Complete proficiency lab testing and report major issues to management.
• All other duties as assigned.
