TreeHouse Foods in Ogden, UT seeks a QA Technician I to uphold food safety and quality across our bakery operations. You will implement QA programs, manage inspections, and ensure labeling accuracy while aligning with rabbinical requirements.

Qualifications

• BS in Food Science or related field.
• 8 years’ experience in the food industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain QA and sanitation programs to minimize regulatory risk.
• Establish raw material inspection procedures and analyze specs for consistency.
• Oversee kosher certification systems to ensure rabbinical compliance.
• Set operating and capital budgets for sanitation and quality functions.
• Develop HACCP and SPC systems with targeted quality checks.
• Review quality reports, address holds, and ensure allergen labeling accuracy.
• Coordinate audits and facility walk-throughs with production teams.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality and defense standards.
