Job summary

PURIS Grains is seeking a Quality Technician to support the Harrold, SD site by managing food safety programs and quality requirements from raw materials through shipping. You will help ensure audit readiness, maintain compliance with SQF and other certifications, and assist the sales team with quality documentation and sampling.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of GMPs and Food Safety a plus.
• 1 year or more in a manufacturing environment or some type of agricultural experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality testing, inspections, and record review to ensure compliance.
• Support audits and maintain quality records across raw materials and finished goods.
• Review COAs for shipments and ensure traceability and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct allergen testing and perform laboratory testing for ingredients and byproducts.
• Collaborate with operations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in internal audits, document control, and preventive control program verification.
