Job summary

Cheney Brothers is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to monitor the quality control program and ensure food safety standards are met across daily operations. You will work as part of a team to uphold GMP and HACCP guidelines while supporting SQF readiness.

The role involves routine product testing, self-audits, and regulatory compliance responsibilities in a fast-paced food distribution environment. The candidate should have 1–3 years of QC experience and a strong focus on food safety.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years in quality control within foodservice or related regulatory compliance.
• SQF program experience preferred; HACCP knowledge required.
• Preferred Experience: 1 - 3 Years; SQF program experience or related experience. Quality control / management and supervisory experience within foodservice industry.
• Licenses and Certifications: HACCP Certification, SQF Certification

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor a quality assurance/food safety program with daily product testing.
• Assist with monthly self-audits for GMP, HACCP, and company policies.
• Ensure compliance with government food regulatory agencies and SQF requirements.
• Prepare facility to achieve and maintain SQF status.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
• Sunday - Thursday: 6am - 3pm
