Job summary

C.H. Guenther is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across the production process. You will perform inspections, tests, and audits, document results, and support deviation investigations.

The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards. You may train staff, participate in continuous improvement, and work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; vocational training in food production/manufacturing is a plus.
• Previous experience in food manufacturing or similar production environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Quality inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain thorough records of inspection and testing activities, deviations, and corrective actions.
• Monitor critical control points and production parameters; collaborate to implement corrective actions.
• Verify sanitation and GMP compliance; report sanitation issues.
• Assist in HACCP audits and maintenance of HACCP plans.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and participate in quality-related projects.
• Provide training on quality standards, procedures, and best practices to production personnel.
