Job summary

Thrive Freeze Dry is hiring a full-time Quality Assurance Technician for its Oak Creek, Wisconsin facility. The role focuses on ensuring safety, quality, and compliance of food products with strict QA standards and SQF guidelines.

You will document findings, perform inspections, and collaborate with the Quality and R&D team. Requirements include two years in QA within food manufacturing or production, strong communication, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in field, laboratory, or production facility quality control.
• Experience in food manufacturing or food service preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and sample incoming raw products, ingredients and packaging materials.
• Evaluate product returns and perform sampling per plans.
• Prepare and file incoming materials inspection reports and non-conformance reports.
• Communicate non-conformances to leadership and maintain QA sample storage.
• Perform pre- and post-operational QA inspections and GMP verifications.
• Conduct environmental monitoring and cleaning verification swabbing.
