Job Description

We're seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to support daily food safety and quality operations for our client in Richmond, CA!

Location: Richmond, CA

Schedule: Monday-Saturday, 5:00 AM - 2:00 PM; Sundays and Wednesdays off

Pay rate: $28 - $30

Duties:

• Perform sampling, testing, plating, and recording of product results.
• Maintain accurate lab records and enter data.
• Follow QC Hold and SOP procedures for out-of-spec products.
• Monitor CCP records and frequencies.
• Calibrate and troubleshoot lab equipment.
• Support GMP, sanitation, and HACCP programs.
• Communicate with supervisors and production on quality issues.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Biology, Microbiology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• HACCP certified; SQF Practitioner preferred.
• Strong knowledge of microbiological and quality testing.
• Proficient in data entry and PC software.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
