Job summary

Walmart in Kings Mountain, NC is seeking a USA-based Quality Assurance/Systems Manager to drive QA and systems initiatives across Import, Regional, Returns, and WM.com. The role focuses on compliance, efficiency, and inventory integrity in a fast-paced distribution environment.

The position requires a related Bachelor’s degree and progressive supervisory experience in logistics. Regular/permanent employment with a competitive salary and benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field (e.g., Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Financial Management, Production/Operations Management); and 1 year experience in an operations/distribution/logistics environment, supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors; managing workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of employees for multiple departments / areas.
• 1 year experience as a Walmart Logistics Area Manager supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing associates; managing associate workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of associates.
• 3 years experience in an operations/distribution/logistics/retail environment, supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors; managing workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of employees for multiple departments / areas.

Responsibilities

• Drive and implement the business plan for area of responsibility to achieve facility goals (production, quality, safety) and implement operational improvements.
• Forecast staffing workload and performance results to meet business demands.
• Prepare, review, and analyze business reports to identify operational improvements.
• Monitor compliance with Logistics and company quality and safety standards and update procedures/documentation.
• Oversee QA guidelines, procedures, and programs to increase building efficiencies and inventory integrity.
• Oversee systems operations: hardware/software maintenance, installation, repairs, and troubleshooting with IS/Logistics teams.
