Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Quality Assurance System Tester to support a large-scale agile software program for the GrantSolutions contract. You will validate features, integrations, data flows, and release packages throughout the lifecycle, designing and executing tests and supporting CI/CD deployment.

You will work with developers, Product Owners, DevSecOps, and Federal stakeholders to ensure software quality across security, accessibility, and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; four years of related experience may substitute.
• Minimum four years of software QA/testing experience.
• Experience designing, executing, and documenting test cases.
• Experience with automated test scripts and CI/CD integration.
• Experience with web-based applications and data workflows.
• Familiarity with defect tracking, test management, and traceability.
• Understanding of SDLC, Agile, DevSecOps, and release management.

Responsibilities

• Review user stories, acceptance criteria, and designs to define test coverage.
• Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases.
• Develop automated test scripts and regression assets for CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform end-to-end testing across new components and legacy functionality.
• Document defects with steps, evidence, and environment details.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce defects and verify fixes.
