Job summary

Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. is seeking a seasoned quality/manufacturing engineer to own supplier non-conformance investigations, containment, and MRB validations. You will validate root-cause actions, read complex drawings/FAI, and leverage SAP/MES to ensure conformance.

Proficiency in Excel/Access/Power BI and familiarity with CATIA are valued. The role supports Boeing Commercial operations and reports to the Spirit Quality/Manufacturing team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in manufacturing and operations.
• 5+ years in Quality/Manufacturing Engineering.
• Ability to read drawings, procedures, FAI and contracts.
• Proficient in SAP/MES; able to perform calibration-related checks.

Responsibilities

• Investigate supplier product rejected on the shop floor for validation of supplier responsibility.
• Ensure that suppliers provide Root Cause and Corrective Action on non-conforming product.
• Investigate customer initiated non-conformance tags for validation of supplier responsibility.
• Containment of non-conforming supplier product.
• Becoming Material Review Board approved for validation of supplier rejections.
