Thrive Freeze Dry is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor to support compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements. You will oversee QA staff performing inspections, testing, audits, and documentation to ensure safe, quality products.

You will work cross‑functionally with operations and support teams to address quality issues, promote compliance, and drive continuous improvement across the site.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 5 years of QA experience in a similar role.
• PCQI, HACCP, SQF certifications preferred.
• Working knowledge of sanitation practices and cGMP in a food manufacturing environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to understand and train others in quality procedures.
• Must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Aufgaben

• Supervise quality staff in areas such as Freeze Dry, Packaging, and Receiving.
• Lead or support internal, external, and third‑party audits.
• Lead investigations related to quality events (NCRs, CAPAs, SCARs).
• Review and approve deviations within areas of responsibility.
• Support mock recalls and product trace activities.
• Maintain the Document Management system and SOPs.
• Provide training to quality staff and others as directed by Quality Management.
