• College degree or equivalent; 1+ year supervisory experience preferred.
• 3+ years of quality experience in food industry with GFSI/SQF, GMP, HACCP, FSMA.
• HACCP and PCQI certified or willing to become certified.
• Strong organizational, leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise QA Technicians and set measurable goals.
• Train and mentor staff on food safety and legality.
• Manage shift planning for QA department.
• Oversee food safety programs, quality standards, and compliance.
• Direct inspection of incoming ingredients and packaging.
• Lead internal audits and mock recalls with corrective actions.
• Support audits with regulators and customers.
• Assist with certifications like organic, non-GMO, kosher as needed.
