Job summary

GFF Career Page is seeking a QC Inspector in Manteno, IL. This hourly role reports to the QC Supervisor and performs line clearance, raw material testing, in-process and finished product analysis using various devices and procedures to maintain quality.

Qualifications

• High school graduate with science background preferred.
• Strong math and reporting skills with computer proficiency.
• Attention to detail and ability to spot non-conformances.

Responsibilities

• Perform line inspections before start-up and verify line clearance items.
• Conduct swab, allergen, GMP and inline process checks; document results.
• Run metal detector tests and record results in designated forms.
• Compare results to specifications and alert supervisor for non‑compliance.
• Tag non-conforming products with MRB-HOLD and manage retention samples.
• Ensure SOPs are followed; participate in traceability and audits.
