Job summary

IPG is seeking a QA Specialist II to strengthen quality across the site in Illinois. You will drive continuous improvement, lead quality assurance practices, and collaborate with engineering and operations to deliver high standards and compliance with internal and customer requirements.

You will work under the Corporate Quality Director and contribute to measurable improvements, safety, and streamlined processes while maintaining thorough documentation and data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Engineering or Sciences.
• 2–4 years of quality/CI experience in manufacturing.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and Teams.
• Data analysis / statistical proficiency.
• Strong time management and organization skills.
• Ability to multi-task under tight timelines with urgency.
• Strong communication of ideas, results and priorities.
• Proficient documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support and lead safety programs across the site and foster safety culture.
• Lead IPS implementation and drive CI initiatives.
• Oversee in-process and receiving inspections and ensure proper disposition and records.
• Investigate nonconformances, drive root cause analysis, implement corrective actions.
• Maintain QA procedures, inspection records, and retention documentation.
• Manage QC laboratory equipment calibration, safety and workflow.
• Build 5S and visual management across quality and operations.
• Provide leadership and coaching to cross-functional teams on CI/QA.
• Support customer compliance documentation and respond to inspection requests.
• Recommend improvements to quality procedures and systems.
• Ensure effective change management communication across levels.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
