Job summary

Strategies to Empower People (STEP) is hiring a full-time Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure quality services for developmentally disabled adults, with ASL skills required. The role conducts on-site QA inspections in client homes, ensuring adherence to policies, laws, and person-centered practices.

The position supports documenting requirements, reporting to multiple entities, and guiding staff through corrective actions to promote independent living in their own homes.

Qualifications

• Must have American Sign Language skills (moderate to fluent).
• Minimum one year of experience in Supported Living Services or related field.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site quality assurance inspections and audits in client homes.
• Perform interviews and document results to meet internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and submit required reports (Special Incident Reports, APS) to appropriate parties.
• Provide feedback and corrective action to staff and help guide training implementations.
