Strategies to Empower People (STEP) is hiring a full-time Employment Support Staff to provide on-site work instruction and support for a deaf adult with an Intellectual and/or Developmental Disability.

This role emphasizes strong American Sign Language (ASL) skills and dedicated, empathetic support to help clients grow independence and job skills at their sites in the Greater Sacramento area.

Qualifications

• Must have STRONG ASL skills.
• Must be 18+ with a HS diploma or equivalent.
• Must have at least one year of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support and instruction at client job sites.
• Assist clients with developing independence and job skills.
• Model appropriate workplace behavior and communication.
