Job summary

Spotnana is hiring a QA Release Engineer II to own quality across the release lifecycle, from regression testing to release validation and deployment support. You will partner with Development and Operations to troubleshoot release issues, design test plans, and drive continuous quality improvements.

The role requires experience with REST APIs, web services, and automation potential. You will collaborate with Product teams and manage release schedules in a fast-paced travel tech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Masters in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of Software development life cycle and Test life cycle.
• Experience working in Scrum teams.
• Expertise validating Web-Application and Web-Services.
• Excellent understanding of REST APIs and testing APIs with Postman or similar tool.
• Experience with distributed architecture and release regression.

Responsibilities

• Own quality across the release lifecycle from regression testing to release validation.
• Monitor and troubleshoot release-related issues with Dev and Ops teams.
• Develop and maintain release process documentation.
• Design, develop and execute test cases, scenarios and plans for Spotnana services.
• Analyze requirements to design test scenarios with Dev and Product teams.
• Execute and analyze test results to report defects.
• Define and monitor QA metrics for continuous quality improvements.
• Estimate efforts, identify risks and meet release schedules.
• Communicate progress, blockers, and timelines to stakeholders.
• Improve test suites and cases for future regressions.
• Analyze automation potential and reduce manual testing where possible.
• Assess automation results for functional and automation issues.
