Job summary

Spotnana is seeking a QA Release Engineer II to own quality across the release lifecycle, from test planning to deployment support. You will work with Development and Operations to resolve release issues, design test plans, and drive automation ideas to reduce manual effort.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Product teams to validate requirements, monitor metrics, and ensure timely releases for travel domain services and applications.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of software development life cycle and test life cycle; experience in Scrum teams.
• Expertise validating Web-Applications and Web-Services.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and testing APIs with Postman or similar tools.
• Experience with distributed architectures and release regression.
• Familiar with version control and CI/CD tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform regression testing and support release and deployments.
• Monitor and troubleshoot release-related issues with Dev and Ops teams.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to the release process.
• Design, develop and execute test cases, scenarios and plans for Spotnana services.
• Analyze requirements to design test scenarios with Dev and Product teams.
• Execute and analyze test results to report defects and discrepancies.
• Define and monitor QA metrics for continuous quality improvements.
• Estimate efforts, identify risks, and meet release schedules.
• Communicate progress, roadblocks, and timelines to stakeholders.
