Job summary

Hooper Deforest seeks a QA/QC Technician to develop and maintain the Quality Assurance/Quality Control program for mechanical construction projects. You will ensure work meets codes (ASME, IPC, UPC, NFPA) and exceeds client expectations in safety and craftsmanship.

Responsibilities include inspections, documentation, NCR management, and collaboration with project teams to drive continuous quality improvements on active sites.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction quality control experience, especially with mechanical systems.
• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications and apply relevant codes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain QA/QC plans aligned with project requirements.
• Attend inspections and coordinate third-party testing as needed.
• Maintain QA/QC records and NCR tracking for corrective actions.
• Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to resolve issues.
