Job summary

A quality assurance company in Boise, Idaho is seeking a QA/QC Specialist to oversee quality control inspection of process piping systems in a cleanroom environment. Responsibilities include inspecting fabricated piping and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and reviewing quality plans. Ideal candidates will have a CWI or NDT Level 2 certification and a complete understanding of semiconductor process systems. Competitive benefits are provided, including health care and 401K.

Qualifications

• Complete understanding of semiconductor process systems including ultra-high purity systems.
• Knowledge of all fabrication/construction protocols as outlined by industry standards.
• Experience and knowledge of processed piping systems.
• CWI or NDT VT Level 2 required.
• Familiarity with B31.3 and ASME Section 9.

Responsibilities

• Inspect all fabricated and installed piping, equipment, and components.
• Review Quality Plans, ITPs, and inspection procedures.
• Ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Verify qualifications of inspectors under subcontractors.
• Prepare reports of equipment problems and deficiencies.
• Perform periodic quality checks for all welding.
• Monitor subcontractor welder performance.

Skills

Understanding of semiconductor process systems

Knowledge of fabrication and construction protocols

Experience with processed piping systems

Ability to read P&ID diagrams

CWI certification or NDT VT Level 2

Familiarity with B31.3 and ASME Section 9
