We're hiring a QA/QC Manager for a large, long-term heavy civil program for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Kentucky.
This is a phased 5 year marine project addressing long-term structural integrity concerns tied to karst foundation geology. Scope includes construction of a new outlet works (control tower, stilling basin, tunnel), a deep cutoff wall across the dam crest (ranging up to 180 ft deep), and deep foundation work. This is a multi-year commitment - construction is expected to run up to 7 years, offering rare long-term job security and career growth.
Projects generally run on a 6/6/4 rotation — 6-day weeks (Mon–Sat) for the first two weeks, then a 4-day week (Mon–Thurs) in week three, followed by a long weekend home before returning Monday. No PTO used for the time off, and travel/accommodations are covered.
This is a great opportunity for a QA/QC professional who wants to be part of a major, long-term infrastructure project with a stable, well-funded federal client.
